FBI Nashville CAAA

Conduct & Ethics Policy

FBI Nashville CAAA is a private nonprofit corporation associated with, but not part of, the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Because of that relationship, the board holds officers, directors and members to standards of conduct that protect both the chapter and the Bureau.

Policy in progress

The board is finalizing the chapter’s written Conduct & Ethics Policy. When adopted, it will address:

  • Use of the FBI name and seal
  • Use of the FBI Nashville CAAA name and logo
  • Personal advantage
  • Media inquiries
  • Violations and sanctions

Until the policy is adopted and posted here, members with a question about a specific situation should contact the chapter before acting.

What already applies

FBI Nashville CAAA is a nonprofit organization separate and apart from the FBI. No member may represent that they speak for the Bureau, and the Association does not speak for the Bureau.

Questions about the FBI should be directed to the FBI Nashville Field Office. Questions about the Association should be sent to communications@fbinashvillecaaa.org.
